Broke in Berlin
Darlings, look at those cozzies! Someone teach me how to believe in god. I MUST join the clergy.
http://ship-of-fools.com/ used to have a gallery of outstanding episcopal robes. OK, so they dont any more but they do have biblical pyjamas. You might enjoy the Rev. Gerald as well.
Is that a picture of back-stage goings on at a nativity play (one where Father Xmas has turned up by mistake, or because he wanted to tell one of the three Kings that “I’m you’re greatest faaaaaannnn!”?
“I must smell your beard! Mmmmmmm!”
Mango, are you a restive Christian? Or restive something? Or not religious at all? I’ve seen references to god-related matters chez toi (if I may ‘tutoyer’ you. Thank god for that ambiguity in English. Some real Frenchies told me that it can be so awkward at times, knowing which to use).
Daggi, doesn’t the pope’s robe look lovely and warm? I could just snuggle up in it.
…which perhaps, Wynders, is what our Orthodox chap is doing. Moving in to see if he needs to fur his threads up. But his headwear is much the most magnificent garment I’ve ever seen. I’ve got a soft spot for Orthodox Christianity because of its great commitment to beauty. Beautiful robes and hats, beautiful churches, such incredibly beautiful services, all sung. When I establish my gay atheist monk colony, we’re going to base all our rites on Orthodoxy. Sort of like the Uniates, but with a twist.
I like to believe I was more swagger than stagger… Lovely to finally meet you. Gangbusters, hot cock, stiff upper lip and all that. December 16. Keep it cleer, keep it queer.
Dennis, you were utterly swaggerful. And awfully nice to meet you too.
